Friday night we went to Mina’s cabin. It was nice to just relax for a night. We made a fire and cooked some hotdogs. Then it started getting real windy. Sparks were flying past the house and the chairs were being blown all over, it was pretty cool. Then it started raining, turns out there was a severe thunderstorm warning until 4am. Storms in cabins are nice.
Saturday Nick and I drove to Buffalo, well Hanover actually, to see Beth. It was their coronation which was kind of interesting to watch actually. I never really knew how the whole town royalty thing worked until now. It’s pretty cool. Beth has been Hanover Princess for the past year so on Saturday she crowned someone else. I bet it takes a pretty great and well rounded person to be princess, so I’m proud of her for that…but now that she’s done she won’t have to leave me anymore to go to princess things :)
Sunday we had a surprise party for Thomas. There were a lot of snacks, that was nice. Karlee and Marissa even came. I can’t believe he’s 18 though! I feel like my 18th birthday just happened. I guess I’m getting old.
